Showing Day of Week in Timesheet grid

I understand that the day of the week can be displayed
along with the date (like Mon 9/8) on a daily timesheet.
I've NOT been able to configure this on our system as
I've not found an option for this choice.
Thoughts????

I believe each user must do this on their own. There is
no admin configuration to make this happen across the
board.

In the My Tasks page of Project Web Access, each user can choose whether to
see the Date and Time for each task assignment, or to see the Date only.
This choice can be made by clicking the View Options tab on that page.
There is no option to display the day of the week plus the date in PWA.
