Showing page breaks?

I often like to set up my sheets without gridlines and
with pagebreaks while I am working on them. I change the
settings, yet when I open the file later, the gridlines
are not shown, but the page breaks are also gone. Is
there a way to get the page breaks to stay on? I am
working in normal view.

The easiest way is to just do a File|Print Preview.

You could toggle this setting via
Tools|Options|view tab
check "page breaks"

Trying to work with page breaks always can slow down Excel,
particularly when working with macros, so you might want to watch for that.
