showing shape ID on drawing

hello,
in ordr to debug shape connection, I need to show the sape IDs on the
drawings.
how do I do that?

Select the shape (or shapes)
menu Insert -> Field -> Object Info -> ID

If the shape already has text then it can get more complicated and you will have to do
each shape individually, this time in text edit mode.
