Shruti font display as rectangles

One of my users updates docs on a share point using the font Shruti. Other
users are unable to display that font correctly. When they open the doc,
text in the Shruti font displays as rectangles. Shruti is definitely on the
list of font families included with XP, and Shruti is listed among the fonts
available to the users but they can’t assign it to text. That is, nothing
happens when they change text from Times New Roman, for example, to Shruti.
These users are running Office 2002, SP3. I, on the other hand, can display
and convert text to Shruti. I'm running Office 2003, SP2.

Any thoughts other than upgrading my 100+ users to Office 2003?

Thanks for the super fast reply. Any idea why office 2003 has no problem
with this issue but 2002 does? Appears to be a lot of work for 100+ machines.
