Shutdown error exporting to Excel

Hi everyone! Using A02 on XP.

I have lots of Access files that were created back in A97 and upgraded to
A02. We've used them for years. Now, all of a sudden, in only one file,
trying to download a query to Excel (or even to select all-or some-records to
copy and paste elsewhere) generates the dreaded "Access has to close and do
you want me to send a report to Microsoft" error. I have gone behind the
button directly to the query and still get the error. I created a new blank
DB and imported everything to it. It worked once or twice and now I'm
getting the error again.

Before I go nuts, is there something easy that I'm missing? I've checked
Tools, References and it seems to have the right items. HELP?????

Thanks in advance, not sure if there is an easy answer but wanted to ask.

Hi Bonnie,

I was born over in Covington. Anyway.....

Would there be any Memo fields being exported? If so try exporting the data
without the memo field(s).
