side header

I have created a left side header that uses an image and text boxes. I moved the document margin to the two inch mark.
everything is fine, but:
If I space first then hit return, otherwise the whole left side shifts with each carriage return.

My goal is to create a header/ footer format on the left and right hand side of the page as opposed to the standard top and bottom.

Also, I would like the format to show on each page not just one.

Did you anchor your graphic and text boxes to the document header? Doing
this will put it safely out of the way of the document text and also cause
it to repeat on every page.
