Side Note Icon Not in Tray

I can't make the icon appear. I've turned on the setting for it, customized
it to "always show" and tried the registry hack mentioned in an earlier post.
Still not there. Any other ideas?

Kathy,

Try this:

Tools > Options > Other

Uncheck the Place OneNote icon ... option in the tray. Click OK. Close
OneNote.

Open OneNote. Go back to the same place and check the option. Click
OK.

That sometimes fixes it.
