signature format in Vista

signature format changed from single space to double space. Cannot find tool
to reformat to single space. Work around is to highlight and set style to
Normal but that is a major inconvenience. Strongly considering switch to
Thunderbird. Using Vista Home and Outlook 2003. Upgrading is not an option.

If you delete the lines spacing, hold your shift down and push the enter key,
it will single space your lines
