signature logo appears in preview, but not when added to emails

i added created a signature with a logo for our company. when i preview it
in word (the program it was created in) it looks fine, but if i add the sig
to an email and send, it only sends the text. i have also viewed with an
html editor, and it appeared okay in the preview as well. i tried recreated
them, but they did the same thing.

any suggestions?

oh, using outlook 03, if that helps.
