Signature with logo problem (Outlook 2007)

I

itek

Hello,

The problem is that after creating the signature with logo in Outlook
2007 and sending an email to a receiver who checks the emial on
different mail clients (Outlook Express, Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007,
Thunderbird) gets logo from signature in the signature and as an
attachement.

How to create a signature with logo in Outlook 2007, that the logo
stayed in the signature only.

Or maybe in Outlook 2007 is an option I missed?

The signature was created in Outlook 2007 editor.
Logo is in .jpg or .gif file type. It doesn't matter.

regards, Itek

If a recipient opens your e-mail as plain text, that logo will NEVER be
anything but an attachment.

You can't control how others will view an email you send. It sounds like
Thunderbird doesn't display embedded images and instead adds them
attachments. IOW, there's nothing on your end you can do to change how your
email will be viewed.

An a related note, another aspect one needs to consider when creating an
email signature is many users read their email on a portable device. I
frequently read emails on my portable device and I'm thankful when the
sender elects to forgo including images that don't add to the message itself
and keep it simple. :)
