Simple, but Complicated

Hello News Group,

I have such a simple question, but I am having so much difficulty in making
it happen. I want Excel to look at the value of a cell, which is calculated
by a formula to COPY that value into a cell elsewhere on the worksheet, but
in the same time leave the value in the original cell.

Enter an equal sign (=) in the "other" cell,
And click in the cell containing the formula,
Then hit <Enter>.

Thank you for your replies - unfortunately I neglected to mention that the
formula is in a cell that is spread across to cells that are merged and the
cell that I want to put a copy of the total is in only a portion of the two
cells that the original result is in.
When I try to use your methods all I get in the cell that is supposed to be
a copy is "0.50"

Don't use "Merged" cells!

Use "Center Across Selection" instead.
