simple formula

N

Naomi Nissen

I'm experienced with Excel formulas and have tried my first one in
Project 2003. I added an enterprise field-resource-cost formula, with
this in the formula window:
[Actual Cost]+[Overtime Cost].
This was accepted by PM. However, when I added a column with that code
as the field name in a project that had the columns "Actual Cost" and
"Overtime Cost", I got an error message: #ERROR.

Thanks for any help. Naomi

When you create a new formula in the Enterprise Global after you already
have projects in the Project Server database, your PM's must press the F9
function key to recalculate each project the first time they open the
project after you create the formula. Ask your PM's to press F9 and let us
know if this solves the problem.
