simple problem: error about INDEX with MATCH function

Hi,

I am newbie to Excel formula, could anyone tell me what's wrong wit
the forumla??

I follow the example in the article:

I typed the example in the attached demo.xls file, but the formula
copied from the example were all resulted in error in my xls file.

How to correct this error??

Hi
best would be you post your exact formula and describe what excat error
you got
Maybe you forgot to enter this formula as array formula (with
CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER)

I really didn't press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER in the formula.........

The formula works after I press it...Thank you very much
