since installing update, can't run CD's

I downloaded the Office 2000 Update: Service Pack 3 (SP3)
the other day and since then I cannot run CD's or download
from my zip drive. I get a message saying I am not
authorized to do so and to see my administrator. I have
checked out the read-only option and that isn't the
problem - Please Help! Thank you!
