Single border around paras with different indents?

I would like to be able to select an area containing paragraphs with
different indents and then put a (single) paragraph border around it.

When I try I get multiple "boxes".

Is it possible just to get a single box?

I have used a work around using a table with just the one cell. The quickest
way I have found of doing this is to use the Draw Table method. But this is
not entirely satisfactory.
