how can i change the size of a single cell ?

you have to merge adjacent cells.Select the cells that form a cell that is of
the size you want,right click on them choose format cells,click on the
alignment tab and tick merge cells,you will also see options for how you want
to display the text in your merged cells

thanks but i want that the merged cell will be free of any column sizes
i mean something like word table that i can change the inside sizes of the
tables
as i wish.
