When I chose single form in the "create form by using wizard", it wouldn't
let me enter data for some fields (from one of the tables, it seems). And I
don't want to have a subform..

Multi-Table queries are often non-editable. Sometimes they can be tweaked to
make them editable and sometimes not. Read the help topic "when can I update
data in a query?".

oh nevermind then.. I will use subform but change its "default view" to
"single form" and remove the nav buttons, border etc in the properties -
thank you for trying to help anyway, much appreciated ^^
