single record mail merge

M

Matt Edwards

I have an Access database that tracks 2500 "potential
donors" using forms. Each form has several subforms,
including one for "donations received."

I'd like to create a button that prints out a thank you
note from a Word doc, filling in variable information
like "name" and "amount received" where appropriate for
people one at a time (which excludes using mail merging as
I know it).

Help!

Doug Robbins - Word MVP - DELETE UPPERCASE CHARACT

Hi Matt,

If you're looking for a great one-click word merge for ms-access, then
take a look at fellow MVP Albert Kallal's website at the link below.
You can word enable any ms-access form with ONE line of code using his
example (it sends only the one record to the word).

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps
