how can I show 5 project tasks in a single row on Gantt chart?

Hi Lynn,
Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup
Insert a task above the five tasks. Select all 5 tasks and select the right
arrow in the toolbar to indent them; then right click on them and select
Task Information. In the dialog, in the General tab, select to roll up
Gantt bars to summary and also Hide task bar. That's about the best you can
get.
