Single space label

When I create a label from a letter, it comes out double spaced and does not
fit on the label even though it's single spaced on the letter. What's up
with that? There is no way to make it single spaced. Any help out there?

Yes it doesn't matter what you do in the actual letter, when you go to make
the labels it always reverts to double space.
