The site that I just built (www.cwgr.org) looks fine in IE, Netscape
AOL and Macintosh platforms, but it doesn't appear properly i
alternative browsers such as Mozilla Firebird. This is a proble
becuase a fairly important person in the organization uses tha
browser. Can anyone tell me why this is and if there is anything I ca
do to fix it? Thanks

I can only guess otherwise...

javascripts that are not universal
absolute positioning
layers

What version of netscape- usually there are few differences
between Netscape & Mozilla
Firebird was a beta that ended with the .7 release-
currently it should be Firefox 1.0

1) If a user does not have a JAVA engine (or blocks JAVA) the java hoover buttons won't show in the left frame at all
2) Try removing your inline styles in your pages

Chelle-

Possible issues-
Hover Buttons- java is required for these. IE can use
either use the MS JVM or Sun's Java. Firebird / Firefox can
only use Sun Java, which can be a tricky install as Sun
doesn't recognize Firefox as a browser. Windows no longer
comes with a Java virtual machine so it is recommended to
discontinue the use of java applets and use a friendlier
alternative, such as Dynamic HTML
