Hi. I recently started using Frontpage 2003 so I could save time in getting
a relatively simple site up and for simpler maintenance. I implemented a
dynamic web template to ensure consistency across the board. But on more
than one occasion, I've tested changes locally, things have been fine, and
when I've uploaded to the remote site, the navigation was totally messed up.
Links were missing - didn't even show. Originally, I thought the problem
was because I'd added Frontpage server extensions after I'd originally
published with FTP, and things seemed to be better when I unintalled them,
but now I'm not really sure what the real problem is or how to avoid it.
Does anyone know why this happens? How can it be avoided? What's the best
way to fix it? I tried to search threads for a similar problem but didn't
see anything like it - did I miss something?
Thank you very much for your help.
