Site Provisioning - Site Template Missing

P

Pat

We are using Project Server 2003 and our IS department had to migrate
to a new server. everything seems to work now except creating new
project workspaces. New workspaces are not being created. When I try
to manually create the project site I receive an error saying "Error
occurred when creating site. Site Does not Exist."

When I look at the Provisioning page I see there is no longer any site
templates so I connect to the server and follow instructions for
adding a new template using the STSADM.exe commands. This appears to
run without error and I reset IIS. However, when I navigate back to
Project Server / Admin / Site Provisioning the template drop down box
is still empty.

Any suggestions or Ideas?

Hey there ,

HAve you tried doing the STSADM -o -Enumtemplates ? This will allow you to
see if the templates are actually there. If it is tried deleting the
template, iisreset, add template again and iis reset again.
