Size of Projects For EPM

Are there any standards or best practices which mentions a minimum number of
hours required for the Project to be put in Project Server.

For e.g create a project plan only if the total duration is more than 40
hours.

Rohan,

It really goes back to the purpose you had in using Project Server. If
your goal is to provide centralized visibility and tracking for major
project schedules then your threshold would be much higher than 40
hours. If your goal is to see all tasks for all resources, regardless
of whether it is project work or non-project work then you will have to
accomodate the small projects in some way (not necessarily as separate
projects).

I have known of PM's who run short-term "hot" projects that last only 1-2
days. Obviously, the minimum is up to your company. Hope this helps.
