Size of Scroll Boxes in MS Excel 2000

Apologies for submitting this simple question, however, it
is really bugging me. I have copied a worksheet which had
lots of information in it and modified it accordingly - no
problems and it now contains less information. BUT, the
scroll boxes are really small!!! I have attempted to
clear contents and delete empty cells but the scroll boxes
are still tiny. Does anyone know how to get Excel to
realize that these cells are empty and change the size of
the scroll bars accordingly?

You need to reset Excel's perception of your used range. Have a look here
