You would first need to create a custom enterprise resource outline code
field that describes your skillsets, and then set the field for matching
Generic resources. If you have populated the RBS field, you will also need
to determine whether it will be used for matching Generic resources. You
will then need to create Generic resources that mimic the skillsets that you
use and then set a value from this field for every resource in the
Enterprise Resource Pool, including the Generic resources.
Once done, you can create a project and then assign Generic resources to
each task. Doing so will indicate the skillsets you need for each task.
From this point, you could use several approaches to find available
resources that match the skillsets, including:
1. The availability filtering found in the Build Team from Enterprise
dialog
2. The availability filtering found in the Assign Resources dialog
3. The Resource Substitution wizard
