Slide desigsn & layouts invisible

I can use my slide design & layouts by clicking on them in the taskpane but
they are not visible until they appear in the slide show. I've tried looking
for add-ins in the powerpoint that might interfere but didn't turn up
anything. Any suggestions as to what I can do?

Hi Heike,

which version of PowerPoint do you use? If it's PPT 2003, please make sure
that all updates are installed (the newest one is Service Pack 2 for Office
2003, at least SP1 must be installed).

If that doesn't work, make sure that you have the newest driver for your
graphics card. And try to set the hardware acceleration for graphics to 0.

Hello Ute,

I've installed all updates for office 2003 and still have the same problem.
What's weird is that this problem only appears under my login - not on
another login on the same computer. Where do I set the hardware acceleration
for graphics to 0??

Thanks for the help Steve, but that unfortunately that didn't solve my
perennial problem with the slide designs and layouts either. Does anyone have
any other ideas how to solve the problem???
