Slide not transitioning properly

For some reason, my 2nd slide has added 7-8 seconds at the end before
transitioning into the next one, and it doesn't matter whether I make the
slide transition time 0 sec or 14 seconds (actual length+1) it still adds
that extra time. I have scanned all the special effects to make sure I
didn't have something in there running longer than that. Is there a way to
resolve this, or maybe like Stu, it is too graphics/transition heavy. There
is 5 pictures, 4 .wav files, and 5 text blocks, almost all of these have
transitions.

5 pictures, 4 WAVs, and 5 text blocks in 13 seconds? Wow. I think I might be
tempted to make a copy of the slide and delete things one at a time to see
if I could narrow down the problem.

You haven't animated something off the slide, have you? That's a trick many
of us use to keep a slide on screen for a few seconds before letting it
transition. Maybe it's causing the delay?
