slide presentation freezes with music from cd added

In Office 2000 Premium, my slide presentation stops
progressing when I use the Insert sound from a CD option.
When I remove the CD option the slides will progress
normally. The music CD will start playing as it should
when I start the presentation but it freezes at the first
slide and and goes no further. Any Ideas?

Right click the CD icon and go to Custom Animation. Click on the Multimedia
Settings tab and be sure that you have checked "Continue slide show".
