slide show slow on first slide only

Slide show view slow from first to second slide only. It
seems to stick. Anyone else with this problem?

What's on slide 1? What's on slide 2?

Which version of PPT? What operating system?

Have you cleared out *.TMP files, emptied the Temporary Internet Files
Folder, and run a defrag lately?
