I've found a PDF done completely in landscape orientation, rigged to open
"kiosk" or full screen mode is a good replacement/ augmentation for a
PowerPoint, in that it can be used in a presentation or put right on the
web. you can set the page delays and even add transitions (which are all
pretty weak). when I get the time I'm going to look into the ability to
embed video into a PDF.

ps...
you can also save a PDF slide show as html...but it's kinda goofy IMO. I've
experimented with it but thats about all.
| Now I tried it but it seems that the only option, using Adobe Photoshop
| Album, is to export it as a PDF file. Not sure if there is another
way....
| if so let me know. I don't like the PDF idea because the user has to wait
| for a separate file to open on their computer for it to run.
|
|
| | It works fine, but creates lots of little pieces.
| Just remember to Import the created album (best if you create it to a
folder
| then Import the folder) into FP.
|
|
| | | Adobe Photoshop Album, which is free to download, will also do a slide
| | show... if you don't want JavaScripts. I've never tried it yet so I
can't
| | tell you how well it works. I plan to test it myself in a test
| website...
| | with in the next few days.
