Slide Timers don't work on every slide.

I've set timers for all slide transitions using the "Rehearse" tool. The
majority of the timers work as they are supposed to, however some slides
never advance on their own, even though the "Slide Sorter" view clearly
displays that slide has a timer, and will only advance using that timer.
