Slide with in-line text wrapping makes lines jagged

I have a PP2007 power point slide that contains an org chart. When I bring it
into Word 2007 as an inserted object set with text wrapping as in-line, it
makes the lines of the org boxes and the connector lines jagged. Other
text-wrapping types and it doesn't get jaggedy. However, I do NOT want
floating graphics in Word files because of their potential of wandering where
you don't want them.

The image needs to come in as an object so user's can edit it. I did insert
the .png version of the slide and it looks great, but this doesn't meet the
user's editing needs

Any ideas on how to overcome this weirdness? I will cross-post on Word forum
too.
