Slides will not advance with audio

After inserting an audio file in the middle of my slide show, the slides will
no longer advance. I was able to insert a mp3 file at the beginning of the
show with no problem.
I am using PP 2002 and XP.

How have you set the sound file in Custom Animations? Is it set to stop playing
1) on click, 2) after current slide, 3) after XX slides? What is the slide's
transition setting?

Thanks for the reply. I actually just got it to work using wav files and
putting them into the slide transition.
