Slides won't print in PowerPoint-Office 2000.

The slides that I insert and add text to are blank when I print them. The
only way I can get the text to print is if I copy an existing text box and
copy it into my new slide or insert a duplicate slide and key over the
existing text. Should I be aware of options, properties, or defaults set
somewhere to fix this?

Thank you.

Take a look at your B/W and Grayscales settings:
View > Color/Grayscale

See if adjusting these settings helps when you print...

Thanks for the reply. I always change it to strictly black and white. I
searched the posts late yesterday and found something to check but didn't
have time.

I forgot to also say that they do not show in print preview either. I think
that is a key fact I left out!

I was playing with the slides and I determined that the slides print in the
handouts IF the text has been entered in a placeholder, but NOT if I have
inserted the text in a newly created text box.

Any ideas with this new information?
Thanks.
