Slideshow + Excel + Database

Hi

I'm not sure if this is the right place but I'll start here anyway.

This is what I need to accomplish:

In an never ending slideshow embed an Excel graph that gets the data from an
Access database.

I think I have accomplish that with an ODBC Addin in the Excel object (a
query), the problem is that it will not update the data portion once every 60
minutes when the slideshow runs.

The update seems to work only when not running the slideshow, what's wrong?
(and of course, manually it works by clicking the update menu item, but it
must work automatically with timer)
