slight space between 1st character and 2nd character

Hi guys,

I have a document and there is a slight space between the first
character of an indented paragraph of the first line and the
second character on that same line. Does anyone have a clue
as to what might cause this problem?

Thanks so much in advance.

Jim.

Sounds like the Character spacing may have been adjusted. Highlight the
section of text affected, then Select Format/Character Spacing from the
menu. See what values are shown and if they differ from the spacing for the
remainder of the text body.

Does it print correctly?

If it does not print correctly, it can be caused by a poor quality font, or
formatting that cannot be removed when you imported the text from another
file.

If the formatting cannot be removed, copy the text to the clipboard and
paste it into Notepad. Then delete that Text Frame, make a new Text Frame
and copy and paste the text back in from Notepad.
