Why do "My Topics" disappear? I had 5 flagged topics, now only one is
left, and that one is from October!

If you're reading the newsgroup directly from MSDN, then the message
history, the explanation is that the msdn servers drop content after 30
days. If you connect to a different news server, you can find histories
going back many years.
