We have migrated our users from Office 98 to Office 2004. We would like
to remove the Office 98 apps from their Docks (they now show up as
questions marks, since the apps have been removed). Unfortunately, a
sys admin who is no longer with the company somehow "locked" those items
so users could not inadvertently remove them from the Dock. No one here
knows how he locked them. Any ideas on how we might unlock and remove
these items? Most users are running OS 10.3.9. However, there are a
few running OS 10.4.8.
