I'm trying to make a conection from a PS 2003 server to a SLMAIL server for
reminders. I have made telnet tests and they were successful but the clients
never get the messages. Do you know what can I do?

Hi Support,

Depending on the notification you will either need to update Project Web
Access ( under the admin tab). You need to have the SMTP INformation. This
will give you task and status update notifications.

If you like the risk and issue notification, you will need to set this up in
Windows SharePoint Services, since this is a functionality supported by WSS.

I hope this helps

Hi Marc.

I already had configured notifications in PWA (for task and status update)
but none of the messages reach the specified mailboxes.

I'm still testing but nothing happens... Do you know if this product
(slmail) is compatible with project server? I hope it works because smtp
transferences are universal.

Thanks.

Hi Support,

I am not familiar with SLMAIL, but generally it should work via SMTP. Maybe
a long shot, but can it be that your spam mail maybe spams it? or a firewall
setting doesnt allow for the mail to go through?
