I am having an intermittent problem with Word booting
very slowly and then opening documents very slowly. This
has suddenly started happening on my HP Pavilion laptop
running XP. I have restored the normal.dot template,
repaired Word, and uninstalled and reloaded the entire
Office suite to no avail. This only happens
intermittently. The laptop is on a network with 3 other
computers and I am also suddenly having trouble with very
slow backup over the network, but the only problem with
slow booting is with Word.
