Slow conection over WAN

As you probably know access really struggles over a WAN. I've heard that a
Citrix Server might be the answer. I have an Access database with only about
10 users over the country but it is painfully slow. It takes up to 10 minutes
just to open a form. Can anyone offer any idea's?

Have you split the database into a FE/BE configuration? I have large access
database (50 MB FE) running over a WAN with around 50 users and although the
FE is large, it has pretty decent performance. Even better when the BE is a
SQL Server

You can't normally run ms-access over a WAN. (the other poster will need to
provide more details as how he is accomplishing this).
