Slow email preview

Going from one email to another is extremely slow, often
taking a 5 second pause from when I click on the email
until it comes up in the preview pane.

Any suggestions on how to streamline that would be
appreciated.

If you have Outlook 2002, go to Tools -> Options -> Other
and turn off
Instant Messaging integration.
