Hi guys
I am running a small peer-to-peer network using Win XP Home with a ADSL
router and 2x5 port hubs with 5 PC's and Office 2000 and XP. Everything
seems to work fine. I have an Access application on each PC which links to
data stored on a single PC. This works fine if one person is using the
application - however if a 2nd person tries to open the app then it can take
up to 2 minutes for it to load and each form to open. Should a 3rd person
try to use the app then.... well, everyone might as well go home. I was
wondering if there is anything obvious in this scenario that would cause
this situation? It doesn't matter who opens the application first,
subsequent attempts to open it always slows the system down.
Cheers
