I see several fixes for Excel, it is taking us up to 10 minutes to open a

No we do not use Norton. We are however having this problem in Power Point
also. 10 minute to open 1 presentation which only took 30 seconds in 2003

Did you disconnect the network drives? Have you looked at your task manager to
see what is going on?

Yes have verified everything, nothing has changed since our company upgraded
to 2007. There had been no issue prior to the upgrade.

Check for add-ins, especially PDF add-ins. Look at your printer driver, is it
current. Publisher is more critical about printer drivers.
Do some disk clean-up chores. Empty the temporary cache in Internet Explorer.
