I have a db that several tables, queries, forms, etc. For
some time now, I have been experiencing a "hang up" any
time I switch to design view, make a change, and hit
either the "save" or "form view" buttons. It can take
anywhere from 10 to 45 seconds before the form reappears
or the little hour glass (when hitting save) goes away.
Its gotten to the point that, whenever I need to make a
new table, query, form, rpt etc, I make it/them in a new
db and import the new items into my current db.
I have compacted the db several times. The VB code is
compiled/saved. I even just now tried the decompile that
Tony Toews has described on his web site. (I noticed a
1.4mg decrease when did the decompile/compile and save)
Is there something else I can do to fix this.
