Slow scrollbars

I have a form with a tab control and 4 subforms on it. 3 of the 4 forms
display the vertical scroll bars immediately and 1 of them only displays
after 1-2 minutes. I am using Access 2003 and ODBC connections to SQL views
on all of them. Any idea how I can fix so that vertical scroll bar shows
immediately? Thanks.

p.s. The horizontal scroll bar shows immediately and there are only 169
records in the subform that delays showing the vertical bar.
