Slow sending email

Any email seems to be leaving the outbox at an extremely
slow rate. A 4 MB attachment is taking about 30 mins + to
leave the outbox. This is not typical for this G4. It
started about a week ago, and no changes have been made to
the network or the machine. I have tried a basic rebuild,
and it seems to fix the problem for a message or two, and
then it goes right back to taking a long time. Even
messages with no attachments and just text send slow.


Any ideas?
