O
Outlook2004
We are having a strange problem in our network i.e. slow speed o
Outlook synchronization with the exchange server. In this regard w
tested Outlook 2000 and 2002 with latest service packs. The problem
faced are:
1. The client keeps on sending packets to the exchange server and fo
quite some time does not receive incoming packets.
2. Long Delays response in sending emails.
3. Long Delays in synchronization of Calender Appointments.
4. The system takes so much time that the screen goes blank – stuck a
50% send/receive. (No activity ; system acts like hanged machine)
5. No packets being received from the Exchange / server side
(Concluded from the network activity that the user's machine attempt
to send packets to server but no response from the server side) Durin
this process only one light of the icon in the task bar is active.
In this regard, we have also asked the network administrators to chec
the latest firware updates on routers / switches. Administrator
confirmed that all equipment in the chain is running the lates
versions and there are no packet collisions. They also checked th
cables and confirmed that all cables are running in PERFECT state.
Can someone help us in resolving this issue.
Thanks
Davi
