Slow Starter

My Outlook is starting slower than normal. This happened
after some type of error. My computer asked me if I
wanted to start in "safemode" I said no and continued.
Ever since then, it has been starting much slower than
normal.

I tried following the directions in the "troubleshooting"
part of the windows system, but it did not work. Thank
you for the help.

Robert,

Thank you for your message. Sorry, I don't remember the
error, the Outlook is XP, I guess that is 2003, right?

Thank you for the help and I look forward to your next
message.

Robert,

I denied the safe mode and I looked at the viewer, I'm
sorry I do not know how to read it very well and it says
something about "class registry". Sorry if my info
doesn't help very well. Any ideas?

Well that is Outlook XP is Outlook 2002

In the Event Viewer there is the Application log will tells you the error,
the program/module causing it plus an Event ID. Those are the important
things.

Also check if Messenger integration is disabled in Outlook; Tools->
Options-> tab Other

Robert,

Thanks for your help.

1.) Under Application in event properties, it says;

Accepted Safe Mode Action; Microsoft Outlook
Type: Error
Event ID: 2000
Source: Microsoft Office 10

Instant Messanger is "enabled" for now.

I hope this helps thank you for your help and I look
forward to your next news.

Well the Event ID doesn't say much; it's not the error message but a
notification Outlook started in safe mode. Also disable the Messenger
integration; not enable
